Denver Academy of Torah was founded by a visionary group of parents more than a decade ago and has a continuing culture of parental involvement. Parents and families have the opportunity to be actively engaged in every aspect of school life. The Parent Volunteer Association and various committees plan and coordinate activities both inside and outside of the classroom.

A basic value of Denver Academy of Torah is to care for the less fortunate among us, and to actively support the greater community that surrounds us. The school has earned a reputation for its (community caring) projects and its involvement in the Jewish life of the Greater Denver Community. The school's philosophy includes giving back to the community that has so generously donated to the creation and continuation of the DAT campus. DAT depends on financial and volunteer support from a wide segment of the Denver community. DAT supporters and students come from all backgrounds and affiliations.
