To instill in our students a love of G-d, Torah and the Jewish people, inspire curiosity about the world and foster a lifelong love of learning.

Denver Academy of Torah is a modern Orthodox, Zionist co-educational school, serving students from Pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade. Age appropriate activities, provided by thoughtful and caring role models who facilitate success in a warm Torah atmosphere, help each child develop positive spiritual attitudes and moral character. The school's educational environment provides an atmosphere that fosters each child's natural curiosity.

Denver Academy of Torah uses the English acronym, "DAT." In Hebrew, means religion, and a form of the word is used to describe one who is an observant Jew. The Hebrew word means "knowledge." The combination of those two ideas form the cornerstone of the school's educational philosophy of a dual program that develops both one's Jewishness and a child's well-rounded education.
