Ms. Liese earned her undergraduate degree in political science from Trinity College in Hartford, CT; her graduate degree in communications from Syracuse University; and a graduate degree in teaching from SUNY – Empire State College in Saratoga Springs NY. She has been in education since 2011. Ms. Liese is married and has three sons; she enjoys traveling with her family and reading books. Her favorite is A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith, because it teaches that it’s okay to love awed people and that the human spirit is not limited by humble beginnings. She loves teaching at DAT because of the intimate class sizes and its emphasis on nurturing future Jewish generations.
