Why DAT?

Denver Academy of Torah instills a love of Torah and a commitment to Jewish life and community, as well as a robust and well-rounded dual curriculum and a nurturing and supportive environment.

Founded as a kindergarten through sixth-grade school originally, Denver Academy of Torah added a middle school in 2001 and a high school in 2013. We currently serve 175 students in grades K-12.

We have 30+ dedicated teachers who are leaders in their field. More than half of our teachers either have or are pursuing advanced degrees. Our student-to-teacher ratio is 7 to 1. We also have an incredible Student Services Center that provides tutoring, mentoring, and counseling support.

Here’s what some of our parents and students have to say about us:

“Judaic programming and focused commitment to the State of Israel is spectacular.”

“Our Jewish community’s basic and core foundation is DAT. It educates future Jewish leaders. It unites Jews. It keeps the Denver Jewish community vibrant, flourishing and strong…Simply put, it is the BEST Jewish day school.”

“DAT is incredible. My kids love it and wake up every day excited to go to school.”
