Most recently, Denise served as a college consultant and advisor helping with academic progression, postsecondary advising, college readiness and admissions preparation. Prior to her admissions work, she has held positions at numerous colleges, including Georgetown, Colorado Western, Vanderbilt and Johnson & Wales Universities. Her experience spans all facets of the student experience including academic advising, financial aid, residential life, orientation, student conduct and dean of student affairs. 

Denise became a passionate advocate for higher education early in her own transformational college experience. Her undergrad is from American University in Washington DC where she majored in International Studies and Environmental Policy; and a master’s degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education Specializing in Academic Advising and Admissions from the University of Denver.

When she is not working, Denise, a third generation Denverite enjoys the theater, movies, cooking, travel and hanging out with her three kids and husband.
